Miatas at the Back of the Dragon #7
This year will be most remembered because of the weather on Dragon Day! Overcast, scattered showers and coming back over the Back of Dragon, we drove in hail! Our driving skills were challenged to say the least. Then saturday, we had plenty of sunshine for the day. Plus a flat tire on a NC. Ugh! No spare tire in this generation. Once again our members pitched in to get this resolved. Yea, a tire was removed from another NC, to be used to get the stranded NC back to town! Always a great “Mitata Memory” in the making at these events. The friendships that are made, the food that is consumed, the roads that we ride on and the views from the mountains to the valleys, make this an event you will want to do every year. This year’s total amount raised for the Autism Society was $2,326.00! The money collected from the registration, the raffle, silent auction and the event t-shirts go toward this great cause! Won’t you join us next year, for Season 8? We hope so!
